Greetings! A lot of exciting things have been happening with Life Journey Ministries this past quarter. I encourage you to click on links in this newsletter and learn more of how to let God do new things through you as you let faith transform you and your work. Here is just an example of some of Life Journey's education, general resources, and support systems you might find of interest:

We've posted a short essay entitled "Just a Stay-At-Home Mom" that shows how making the Kingdom of God more visible can occur in the home, or through managing an IT department, or dying in Iraq. We're also sharing Lynnette Campbell's story of helping congregations in her community to work together to help feed the poor and homeless.

FUNDRAISING:
We conducted our first funding campaign and are working to establish a strong relationship with people (and now congregations) wishing to support a Godly transformation of work.

CONFERENCES:
We have been speaking at a variety of conferences and congregations. Download the presentation given this past month entitled "Equipped for Works of Service."

We are working on arrangements for next year's two Coastal Conferences in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Portland, Oregon. In addition to round robin discussions on faith in the workplace, we'll do break-out sessions and host open mikes regarding the topic of "Being Sunday People in a Monday World!" We're also excited to have William Young, author of The Shack speak on "Is God Really That Good?" Also take a look at a paper discussing "Why Life Journey Has Asked the Author of The Shack to Conference With Us."
